Reaching out to all HHS Alumni and especially former Knight and Lady Knight golfers. Coach Dutch Vandenborn has long had a dream of Henryetta Public School MS and HS golfers having an indoor/year round on school site training facility. We have always been able to pay for access to our Henryetta Golf Course for practice but winter and often inclement weather during our offseason and season, plus travel time during the school day have always cut into valuable training and game improvement time. Coach Vandenborn, Been, Swallow and a community support committee approached the school this past summer in effort to partner with them to see a building such as this constructed. We are pleased and grateful to announce that our school has completed construction of a 60×50 indoor facilty that will contain a spacious practice area, locker room/bathroom, and storage rooms. Final projects to be completed by the school include, electric to the structure and heat system
The Henryetta Chip In Club has pledged to fundraise and to cover installation costs of the following projects. Henryetta Chip-In Club Building Projects remaining:
Project 1. Cover the difference in upgrading from a heating only system to a dual heat and air system for year round climate control in the training facility Estimated cost=$4000Project 2 Restroom Facility fixtures (sinks, toilets, and privacy stalls Estimated cost=$2000Project 3- Installation of sheet metal ceiling to enclose upper portion of the facility to allow for more efficient heating and cooling. Estimated cost=$5000Project 4- Purchase and installation of Skytrak Simulator and Projector to track swing mechanics for ball striking and game improvement. This will also allow athletes the opportunity to play virtual golf courses from around the world!! Estimated Cost=$9000Project 5. Installation of protective mats around putting/ chipping area which will include school branding, former team and individual accomplishments, and donor recognition inside building. Estimated Cost=$5000

Henryetta Golf has not only been one of the most consistently successful athletic programs over the years but has produced numerous All State players and State Tournament appearances. Most importantly we are so proud that not only our school but our golf program has seen so many former student-athletes and alumni go onto successful careers in so many different fields of occupation. We are now calling on those interested and able to partner with the Henryetta Chip In Club to finish the completion of this facilty project that our Henryetta students deserve. Upon completion it will give our school district one of if not the nicest golf training facilities in our class but across the State of Oklahoma.
